| my 4 day 3 night cruise to the bahamas cost me 350 just to get on the boat, not to mention buying gf's ticket and paying for everything once you get there. See? Much cheaper for a single person, and you get to enjoy 4 whole days. By the way, tell your free-loading girlfriend to get a job. worst waste? well maybe for you, maybe a scuba diving trip would be a waste for a blind kid, and stones tickets for a deaf kid, but one guy's waste of time/money is another's fantasy. Although I am sure there are other ways to find yourself in the drivers seat of some of these cars without having to buy them. not what I am saying, your implication that I am equating the opposite extreme to be the truth is a fallacy in itself. I dont think I need to explain that the straight laced, book smart-only types who never take any risks, never disobeyed mommy and daddy, never had to worry about getting caught doing something because they never did anything they "shouldnt" have been doing, arent the most well rounded people in society...if that needs to be explained to you, then obviously you were one of those people. So people who don't blow a grand on some rental cars aren't well rounded? Your argument is getting more valid by the second. Everyone agrees it is a waste of money, but to try to over-emphasize your point by slapping F430's, Z06's, Continentals, etc etc with the rental car connotation (in effect equating them to malibus, taurus's, stratus's) is akin to equating a $100-per-ride bullriding service to a petting zoo. They are rental cars if you pay to rent them. You came up with that connotation, not me. There's a difference. Hence the ridiculous price.
